From the Arab Regional Weather Center - the latest weather maps indicate that Jordan will be affected, God willing, by an air depression classified as second degree (which is the degree that means it is normal) according to the severity scale of air depressions, and its effects on the Kingdom will begin from tonight and its impact on the Kingdom will continue for about 24 hours, God willing.
In detail, it is expected that the Kingdom will remain under the influence of unstable weather conditions during the coming hours that precede the effect of the depression, so that the weather will be cold and often cloudy, and the opportunity will be ripe for showers of rain in some areas, which may be accompanied by thunder at times.
According to the computer simulation at the Arab Weather Center, it is expected that gradually, with the passage of hours tonight, the Kingdom will be affected by the air depression, which will then be concentrated east of the Syrian territories, so that there will be an additional drop in temperatures and the weather will turn cold, cloudy and rainy in many areas. Especially the north and center, and it may sometimes be accompanied by thunder and hail.
Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center expect the Kingdom to be increasingly affected by the depression on Tuesday, so that the weather will be cold, cloudy, windy and rainy in the north and center of the Kingdom and parts of the eastern and southern regions, especially the highlands, and this rain will be heavy at times. It is accompanied by hail, especially in the afternoon hours, leading to flowing valleys and reefs, and perhaps torrential rains in some areas and a rise in water levels.
While the Kingdom is affected by this depression, it is not unlikely that low clouds touching the Earth’s surface will cross the Kingdom’s mountains, leading to the formation of fog and dense fog at times, causing a significant decrease in horizontal visibility, especially during the dawn and morning hours of Tuesday.
The winds will also be strong during the day on Tuesday, with the possibility of wind gusts sometimes reaching 80 km/h in open areas, so that desert areas are vulnerable to dust waves that may be dense at times and cause a significant decrease in horizontal visibility.
