Arabia Weather - Weather maps at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected from Tuesday until the end of the week by a relatively hot air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula. Therefore, there is a gradual rise in temperatures to be higher than their average for this time of the year, and the weather is relatively hot in the western and mountainous regions of the Kingdom, and hot to very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the city of Aqaba, in addition to the eastern desert regions.
In detail, the Kingdom will be affected starting Tuesday and increasing Wednesday and Thursday by a relatively hot air mass, so temperatures will rise to be higher than their rates for this time of the year by about 3-5 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be relatively hot over the mountain highlands and hot in the rest of the regions. While it will be extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the eastern desert regions.
Experts reported that the maximum temperatures in the main cities and the capital, Amman, will be between the early and mid-thirties Celsius during the period of influence of the relatively hot air mass, while reaching the early forties Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the city of Aqaba, in addition to large parts of the desert.
There is also an increase in nighttime temperatures compared to previous nights, and the weather will be moderate in the western regions and eastern plains of the Kingdom, while it will be warm in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, especially during the early hours of the night.
The northwesterly winds will continue to blow over the Kingdom in the coming days, with moderate speed during the afternoon and evening hours, and sometimes active, especially in the eastern regions during those periods, which may lead to raising dust and dirt in the desert areas of the Kingdom.
For their part, meteorological specialists at the Arab Weather Center confirmed that weather maps indicate the proximity of hot air to the Kingdom, but it does not go deep enough to cause a heat wave or raise temperatures to very high levels, and therefore there are no signs of heat waves in Jordan during The coming days, despite the high temperatures.
