Jordan: Air instability affects the Kingdom on Tuesday, accompanied by random thunderstorms, followed by a second-degree depression on Wednesday (the first day of Eid astronomically)

From the Arabia Weather Center - The latest weather readings indicate expectations that the Kingdom will be affected by a state of atmospheric instability gradually as the daylight hours pass on Tuesday, resulting from the convergence of an extension of a surface air depression from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called the Red Sea Depression and a cold air mass in layers. In addition, this convergence coincides with an influx of moisture in the different layers of the atmosphere, so that the opportunity opens in the afternoon and evening hours for thundershowers of rain, God willing, in separate areas of the Kingdom.

Specialists at the Arab Regional Weather Center said that it is expected that some of these showers will be heavy in some neighborhoods and narrow geographical areas, and will be accompanied by hail, which may cause the occurrence of so-called flash floods, especially in low-lying areas, slopes, valleys, and reefs. The winds are active, ranging from westerly to southwesterly, and they stir up dirt and dust in desert areas. It may also be accompanied by strong gusts during the passage of cumulonimbus thunderstorm clouds.

The weather on Tuesday/Wednesday night will be generally cold and fluctuate between partly cloudy and mostly cloudy.

A second-degree depression affects the Kingdom on the first day of Eid astronomically (Wednesday)

The latest weather forecast maps at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, on Wednesday by a depression in all layers of the atmosphere and classified as second-degree, which is the degree that means that the depression is normal according to the depression classification index at the Arab Weather Center.

It is expected that there will be another drop in temperatures on Wednesday, and they will become several degrees below their usual levels for this time of the year. The weather will be cold over the high mountain highlands and relatively cold in the rest of the regions, fluctuating between partly cloudy and cloudy, and showers will fall. Rain, God willing, from time to time in the north and center of the Kingdom, especially the dawn and morning hours, extending to parts of the southern highlands and the eastern regions.

Fog also forms as the night hours pass over many mountainous heights, especially high ones, after low clouds pass by touching the surface of the earth, which leads to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
