Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest outputs from the so-called computer simulation show a significant change in the shape of weather systems in the northern hemisphere, including the Kingdom and the Levant, as a result of cold air flowing to Eastern Europe affecting Jordan in the form of a moderate and humid air mass starting Thursday, causing temperatures to drop, especially during the night hours.
In detail, weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center indicated that the latest advanced computer outputs indicate that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, on Thursday by an air mass with lower than usual temperatures, and will continue until the end of the week. As a result, temperatures will drop to be 2-4 degrees Celsius below their average for this time of year, and the weather will be pleasant over the mountainous heights, moderate in the rest of the regions, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with the appearance of low clouds, and maximum temperatures will be between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius over the mountainous heights and most major cities, including the capital, Amman.
With the drop in night temperatures at the end of the week, it is expected that the temperature differences between day and night will become large, with temperature differences ranging from 10-14 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the Arab Weather website warns of temperature differences and the relative cold weather during the night hours, which contributes to increasing the chances of catching a cold and seasonal diseases, especially for children.
The latest outputs of numerical models indicate a decrease in minimum temperatures to range between 14-17 degrees Celsius over the peaks of high mountains and plain areas, while minimum temperatures are less than 14 degrees over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains (reaching about 10 degrees Celsius) amid relatively cold but refreshing weather.
14 Day Weather in Amman, Jordan
As for the expected weather conditions on Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly and be around their averages or slightly higher, and moderate weather will prevail, tending to be hot during the afternoon and evening periods, with scattered clouds appearing in some areas.
The maximum temperatures in the capital, Amman, are around 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum drops to around 17 degrees Celsius. The weather is generally relatively cold, with a warning of temperature differences between day and night that exceed 10 degrees Celsius.
God knows best.
