Arab Weather - The Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, the emergence of laboratory results confirming the registration of a case of monkeypox infection for a non-Jordanian person residing in Jordan.

The ministry said in a press statement that the infected person is a 33-year-old male who showed symptoms of infection in the form of pimples (skin rash). He is currently in isolation at Al-Bashir Hospitals, and was diagnosed by a PCR test at the Ministry of Health laboratories. His health condition is stable.
