Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that the latest outputs of computer maps, especially those concerned with the movement of weather systems, indicate the continued absence of air depressions with the last days of Al-Mraba’aniyah, and an additional rise in temperatures occurs to be several degrees higher than their averages, with a warning of sharp temperature differences between day and night.
Temperatures will rise on Thursday, so temperatures in the coming days will be 6-8 degrees Celsius higher than their average for this time of year. Spring-like weather will prevail during the day, meaning it will be pleasant and sunny in most areas with some high clouds appearing in the south of the Kingdom. Maximum temperatures will be close to 20 degrees Celsius in most cities and regions of the Kingdom, including the eastern neighborhoods of the capital, Amman.
Despite the high recorded temperatures, the perceived temperatures are lower, as moderate-speed southeasterly winds are expected to continue, sometimes active, especially in desert areas and the Ghor valley, causing dust and dirt to rise in some areas, and increasing the feeling of coldness during the night and early morning hours.
As for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, temperatures are expected to reach the twenties in these areas, and even reach the mid-twenties in several parts of the Jordan Valley, especially the southern ones, amid warmer than usual weather for this time of year. It can be described as inspired by spring in the coldest parts of winter.
Significant temperature differences between day and night are expected, ranging between 12-16 degrees Celsius, and more than that in desert areas, due to the significant radiation cooling in those areas. Accordingly, a warning is issued about the risks of temperature differences and significant cold weather during the night.
The weather during the coming nights will be cold in all regions of the Kingdom and will become very cold during the late night and dawn hours, especially over the high mountainous areas, the eastern plains and the southern desert, coinciding with an increase in surface humidity levels, a relative calm in wind speed and a decrease in the percentage of clouds, as the weather conditions are suitable for the formation of frost in several parts of the Kingdom, especially parts of the desert and the eastern plains regions.
The minimum temperatures, especially those close to the ground surface, in the aforementioned areas fall to approximately zero degrees Celsius (and are below zero degrees Celsius at the peaks of the Shara), while they are from 6 to 2 degrees Celsius in the rest of the areas.
And God knows best.
