Jordan | Education confirms: There is no delay in the school hours

Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Education confirmed that the time for school students for the second semester will start tomorrow, Sunday.

The media spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Al-Masafah, denied that students have postponed attendance due to the weather conditions affecting the Kingdom, stressing that the second semester will start on time.

Today, Saturday, the paramedic told Roya that schools will start handing out textbooks to students in conjunction with the start of the second semester on Sunday.

He pointed out that the timing for students to start attending their schools, as is the case in the first semester, due to the government's fixation of summer time.

The assistant explained that all the school books were supplied to the warehouses of the education directorates, so that they could be distributed to the students, pointing out that some schools started their working hours last week, in order to deliver the books at once to the students.

He stressed that the teaching process will begin immediately after handing over the books to the students.

He stressed that all schools in the Kingdom are equipped with heaters, some of which have central heating or air conditioning, and that all classrooms have kerosene heaters, according to the assistant.

And the assistant indicated that the student should not be asked to move the heater inside the classroom, or to fill it from the fuel tank, considering that this act is "unacceptable."
