Weather of Arabia - Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued a notice requiring the suspension of all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, and companies wholly owned by the government, on Sunday, the ninth of next June.

The Prime Minister stated that the official holiday comes in celebration of the day of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne, and on the occasion of the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II assuming his constitutional powers.

The statement indicated that the communication excluded ministries, departments and official institutions whose work nature requires otherwise.

The communication stated that this occasion reminds Jordanians of the path of achievement, progress and construction, and their continuation at a steady pace towards a better future for Jordan.
