Jordan: Increasing activity of easterly winds and rising levels of dust in the atmosphere in many areas in the coming hours.

Arab Weather - The Kingdom has been witnessing, since the early hours of Thursday morning, brisk easterly to southeasterly winds, accompanied by strong gusts at times, causing an increased feeling of coldness, especially over high mountainous areas and exposed areas. These winds also lead to dust and sandstorms, which reduces horizontal visibility in many areas to between 3,000 and 5,000 meters.

In the coming hours, God willing, easterly to southeasterly winds are expected to increase, with active speeds, accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 50 km/h, on the mountain slopes, especially in the southern regions and the Ghor and Shafa regions. The active easterly winds will also stir up dust and sand in many areas, increasing the levels of dust and suspended dust in the atmosphere, causing a decrease in horizontal visibility.
