<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">ArabiaWeather.com- Jordan ranked fourth in the world in terms of investment in renewable energy projects compared to GDP, according to a recent report issued by the International Energy Agency, according to the Kingdom's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Ibrahim Saif.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Saif explained the possibility of improving the efficiency of energy use and reducing its consumption intensity by rates ranging from 5 to 10% by following optimal methods to reduce unnecessary consumption, with a strategy to diversify energy sources in the Kingdom by 2020 so that the Kingdom becomes an exporting country.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> He added that according to energy efficiency measures, the energy bill reaching 20% of the Kingdom's GDP is high compared to industrial countries that rely heavily on energy in manufacturing fields such as Japan and Germany.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> It is noteworthy that the Kingdom has recently witnessed the inauguration of several projects that rely on renewable energy in more than one governorate.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p>
