Jordan | Modifying working hours at the University of Jordan

Arab Weather - The President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nazir Obeidat, decided to postpone the start of work for administrative staff to become 8:30 in the morning instead of 8:00, to continue until 4:00 in the afternoon.

According to the decision published by the university on its official website, this amendment will be effective as of Tuesday, November 5, 2024 .

The decision excludes units and departments whose work requires different hours, as their working hours will be coordinated directly with their administrations.

In a statement to the media, Dr. Rakan Abu Arabi, Director of the Media and Relations Unit at the University of Jordan, explained that the students’ attendance will remain as it is, with the first lecture starting at 8:30 in the morning, without any change.
