Weather forecast in Jordan on Monday

 

It is expected, God willing, that temperatures on Monday will continue to be higher than their averages for this time of the year by about two degrees Celsius, and the weather will be normal summer above the high mountain highlands and relatively hot in the rest of the regions, while the heat will continue to be very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and the winds will be northerly. Moderate westerly, sometimes active in the afternoon and evening hours.

 

During the hours of Monday/Tuesday night, the weather will be moderate to pleasant in most regions of the Kingdom and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Surface humidity levels will also rise with the gradual appearance of low clouds in the north and center of the Kingdom, and the weather will be suitable for outdoor sessions, God willing.

 

The end of July 2023 ended with a strong heat wave. In contrast, this year there was normal summer weather with temperatures around average.

 

Returning to climate records specifically in the period (23-29) July of last year 2023, the Kingdom witnessed a heat wave during which temperatures rose remarkably, as the Ghor Al-Safi weather monitoring station recorded the highest maximum temperature in this period, reaching 46.7°C on 07/25/ 2023, while the Amman Civil Airport monitoring station recorded the highest maximum temperature on 07/28/2023, reaching 37.5°C, according to the Meteorological Department.

 

The weather specialists at the Arab Weather Center reported that the same period in July, but this year the weather will be completely different, as the maximum temperatures will drop slightly to be in the main cities and the capital, Amman, in the early thirties Celsius, while reaching the early forties Celsius in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. And the city of Aqaba, in addition to the Badia regions, amid the absence of heat waves and the prevalence of normal summer weather in various regions of the Kingdom, God willing.

 

During the night hours of the same period, pleasant weather prevails in the western regions and eastern plains of the Kingdom, while it is warm in the valleys, especially during the early hours of the night. Humidity levels rise and humid and dewy atmosphere prevails in several regions.

 

The winds will be moderate northwesterly, accompanied by active gusts in the afternoon and evening, making the atmosphere suitable for outdoor seating during the evening and night hours.
