Jordan - Public Works announces a state of medium emergency and confirms its readiness to deal with the expected air depression tomorrow

Arab Weather - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced today, Monday, the start of work within the medium emergency plan, starting tomorrow morning, Tuesday, in conjunction with the weather conditions expected to affect the Kingdom, according to information received from the Meteorological Department.

In a press statement today, the Ministry confirmed its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions and to address the observations received around the clock through its 106 teams distributed in the various governorates of the Kingdom.

She added, "It has been circulated to its directorates and offices throughout the Kingdom with full readiness to face the expected weather conditions and to conduct periodic inspection tours to all regions, indicating that directors of directorates and offices working in the field have been entrusted with raising the emergency plan as needed and developments in the weather situation."

The ministry stressed the need for permanent and continuous coordination with the ministry’s partners, based on the directives of the Minister of Public Works and Housing and the Minister of Transport, Engineer Maher Abul-Samen, to work on solving and addressing all observations immediately to maintain the sustainability of the services provided to citizens, according to the government’s approach.

It called on citizens to be careful and to stay away from torrents and valleys, especially in the southern regions of the Kingdom, and to be careful while driving on external roads in the Badia regions due to the possibility of low horizontal visibility as a result of dust formation.
