And weather forecasters in the operations room of the "Arab Weather" center stated that it is expected, God willing, that a cold air front will cross, starting from the afternoon hours of Wednesday, and very cold winds will flow behind it, so that the opportunity is ripe for showers of snow to fall over some high mountain elevations (details below), And they do not expect further development of this depression so that it remains within the category and the third degree. It is also expected that it will bring more rain in several regions of the Kingdom, which will contribute to raising the rain reserves of the Kingdom, which suffers from great weakness.

Stormy weather is expected to prevail on Wednesday in most areas, as strong winds blow, with gusts reaching a speed of about 100 km/h, causing heavy dust waves in the desert areas. in the north of the kingdom. The chances of precipitation recede from the central regions, and opportunities remain in the north of the Kingdom, so that rain falls from time to time and is sometimes heavy and accompanied by hail.

A new cold air front begins to cross the Kingdom's airspace, starting from the afternoon and evening hours

And the Kingdom gradually crosses, with afternoon and evening hours, what is called a cold air front, starting from the north of the Kingdom, so that the rains, God willing, begin to become regular and intensified, and are accompanied by heavy hail showers and perhaps some thunderstorms locally, and soon these weather phenomena extend, God willing. Towards the central regions of the Kingdom, and gradually during the night the rain extends towards the southern heights of the Kingdom.

And as we enter the night hours, the flow of very cold air towards the Kingdom increases with the movement of the air depression towards the east, so that the chances of snowfall rise from time to time and sometimes accumulate over the peaks of the high mountain heights that are more than 1200 meters above sea level, which includes the peaks of the Jerash Mountains. And Ajloun Al-Alia, the peaks of the Southern Mazar District and Mutah in Al-Karak, the peaks of Tafila Governorate (Al-Rashadiyah and Al-Qadisiyah), the peaks of the Al-Shoubak District, Al-Hishah, Jabal Mubarak, Al-Taybeh Al-Janubia, Ras Al-Naqab, and the surrounding areas of Wadi Musa. It is also expected that snowfalls will be concentrated, in particular, in the areas of Al-Rashadiyah and Al-Qadisiyah in Tafila Governorate.

And the latest weather readings analyzed by the Arab Weather Center indicate that the cold will be sufficiently penetrating in the late hours of the night and dawn on Thursday to cause temporary and intermittent snowfalls over the high mountain heights of more than 1000 meters, which include the heights west of the capital, Amman. Balqa and accumulations, if they occur, will be limited and for short periods.
