Jordan | Relatively cold nights with thick fog forming over some areas until the middle of the week

Arab weather - it is expected, God willing, that night temperatures will return to a decline starting from Saturday night / Sunday, and the decrease in night temperatures will increase until the middle of the week, so that the weather at night hours tends to be cold in the mountainous heights and the plains, it turns to become relatively cold during the late night hours, And it is colder in the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, in the south of the Kingdom.

Minimum temperatures range between 12-14 degrees Celsius in many regions of the Kingdom, while they are around 10-12 degrees Celsius in the Shara Mountains, which requires wearing a light coat when leaving the house late at night.

While the minimum temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the city of Aqaba are between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the weather is pleasant in those areas during the late night hours.

High humidity and a chance of dense fog

The decrease in temperature at night coincides with a significant increase in surface humidity and the appearance of low clouds, so that fog forms in the high mountainous heights and parts of the eastern plains.

The fog is sometimes thick over some areas, causing a decrease in the horizontal visibility.

• Wear a light coat when leaving the house at night, and be aware of the temperature differences between day and night, which increases the chances of catching a cold.
• Be aware of the danger of low horizontal visibility in parts of the mountainous heights and eastern plains due to fog.
