Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Siberian wave will deepen its impact on all regions of the Levant, including the Kingdom, as the very cold Siberian air mass is located over Syrian lands and is close to the Kingdom, and chances of precipitation are renewed in many regions amid very cold weather inspired by the depth of winter.

The impact of the very cold Siberian air mass deepened on Monday night/Tuesday and Tuesday morning.

In detail, the effect of the very cold Siberian air mass on the Kingdom deepens during the hours of Monday/Tuesday night and Tuesday dawn, as temperatures drop to unusual winter levels at this time of year, reaching around 6 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, while approaching zero degrees Celsius in the peaks of the Shara Mountains and some areas of the Badia and eastern plains, thus prevailing very cold weather, similar to winter.

The deepening of the Siberian winds towards the Kingdom coincides with renewed chances of rain during the hours after midnight, dawn and Tuesday morning, as large amounts of clouds continue to appear and cloudy weather prevails with some rain showers in many parts of the Kingdom, which may be in the form of frozen rain in the high mountain peaks.

Much cooler than average temperatures and very cold weather over the mountainous areas

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will continue to be affected by the Siberian wave, and temperatures will be about 8-10 degrees Celsius colder than usual for this time of year. The weather will be very cold over the mountainous heights, with the maximum not exceeding 7 degrees Celsius in most of the mountainous heights, and less than that in the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, while the weather will remain cold in the rest of the regions.

The weather remains mostly cloudy with showers of rain falling in different parts of the Kingdom in the form of frozen rain on the tops of high mountains, and low clouds pass over and touch the ground surface, leading to the formation of dense fog on the tops of high mountains.

The winds are westerly, moderate in speed, active at times, and noticeably increase the feeling of coldness.

Tuesday/Wednesday night will be bitterly cold with widespread frost and warnings for farmers.

The specialized weather maps show that the night cold will reach its peak during the night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday, when night temperatures will drop further to be close to zero degrees Celsius in several parts of the Kingdom during the late night hours. In the Shara Mountains, the Badia regions, and parts of the eastern plains, temperatures may drop below zero degrees Celsius.

With the decrease in cloud cover and the decrease in wind speed, the weather conditions are suitable for the formation of frost and freezing in many large areas of the Kingdom, including the main cities, while the formation of freezing in places where water pools are located is not excluded.
