During this period, the Kingdom was affected by an air depression and a very cold air mass, as temperatures decreased and cold to severe weather prevailed in most regions of the Kingdom, and showers of rain fell over many areas, and intermittent showers of snow fell over the peaks of the Shara Mountains, affecting the high mountains of the north. For a temporary period, coinciding with the gusts of brisk winds accompanied by strong gusts.
The Kingdom was affected by a new air depression during that period that was classified as normal and was accompanied by a very cold air mass, bringing noticeably cold weather, and rain fell on the north and center of the Kingdom, which was heavy at times with activity at wind speed, and snow fell on the tops of Ajloun and Jerash that accumulated to a limited extent. Over some areas, it is noteworthy that the depression was preceded by a warm air front that caused a noticeable rise in temperatures.
After mid-February, a very cold air mass erupted in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which coincided with a superficial extension of the Red Sea depression, which resulted in the emergence of a moderately severe state of atmospheric instability centered in the south of the Kingdom. Floods in the valleys, and snow fell on the southern peaks of the Sharah Mountains.
At the end of February, the Kingdom was affected by an air depression of the normal degree, bringing the cold winter weather followed by humid western air currents, and rain fell on the north and center of the Kingdom, extending to parts of the southern region.
