Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest readings from the Arab Weather Center's advanced computer weather maps, which forecast temperatures, indicate that the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to record their highest temperatures over the weekend. This coincides with the Kingdom being affected by a Khamaseen depression, which brings extremely hot air currents from the African Sahara.
Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and even touch the mid-30s in some areas, especially in the southern and central Jordan Valley, including the Dead Sea, on Wednesday. With the Kingdom being affected by a Khamaseen depression, along with the same air mass coming from African sources, temperatures in the Jordan Valley will rise to the upper 30s and even touch the 40s in some parts, amid hot to very hot weather that is warmer than usual for this time of year.
God willing, and with the Kingdom being affected by air currents with extremely warm temperatures, temperatures are expected to rise further, reaching averages of 11 to 13 degrees Celsius above their average for this time of year. The weather will be relatively hot in various regions, becoming hotter during the afternoon and evening hours on Thursday and Friday.
With temperatures rising, highs are expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius in most cities and regions of the Kingdom, including the capital, Amman, on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures may even exceed 30 degrees Celsius in cities and densely populated areas located below sea level.
The weather will be cooler than usual in various parts of the Kingdom during the night hours, especially in the early evening hours, while it will tend to be cold in the late hours and during the dawn and early morning hours, especially over the high mountainous areas.
And God knows best.
