Jordan - The Directorate of Public Security warns of the expected depression tomorrow, Tuesday 01-31-2023

Today, Sunday, the Public Security Directorate stressed the need to take precautions and caution, during the depression expected tomorrow, Tuesday, according to the incoming weather forecasts.

The Directorate warned of the risk of low horizontal visibility in the desert areas due to dust and the risk of slipping on the roads in areas that may witness rainfall, calling for the following instructions to be followed:

1. Exercising caution while driving, especially on foreign roads throughout Jordan
2. Stay away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents form, and not risk crossing them under any circumstances, whether by vehicle or on foot.
3. Safe use of heating methods of all kinds, providing proper ventilation for homes from time to time, and not leaving fireplaces burning unattended or while sleeping.
4. Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911 if the need arises
