Weather of Arabia - The Public Security Directorate renewed its warnings as a result of the expected weather conditions and the rise in temperatures that the Kingdom will witness during the coming days, to the necessity of following a set of advice and instructions to avoid the occurrence of sunstroke and heat exhaustion incidents

Important tips and instructions that must be followed to face the upcoming heat wave

• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight to avoid the risk of sunstroke and heat exhaustion, especially in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
• Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, and wear light and loose clothing
• Do not leave sterilizers inside the vehicle during high temperatures, as they contain flammable materials
• Do not leave children alone inside the vehicle while performing errands, and do not allow them to play under the sun for long periods
• Wear protective head coverings and hats and take a rest, especially for people whose work requires staying under direct sunlight for long periods.
• Do not set fire to grass, especially in forested areas, and stay away from dense grass areas that are breeding grounds for reptiles such as scorpions and snakes.
• Do not overload electric sockets beyond their capacity by operating air conditioners, fans, etc. on one electric current source
