Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that by returning to the archive of air depressions in the Kingdom, it was noted that since the invention of the air depression index in 2018, the Kingdom's atmosphere has not been free of classified air depressions until December 23, except for this season (2024/2025 season), where looking at the archive, the absence of classified air depressions until now reflects the very weak rainfall performance witnessed by the Kingdom.

For the first time since 2018, there are no classified depressions until December 23 of each year except this year.

In detail, the Kingdom has been witnessing during this period and since the beginning of the current rainy season for the year 2024/2025, which began in October and will continue until December 23, 2024. The Kingdom has not been affected by any classified air depression, even of the lower degrees such as the first and second degrees, in complete contrast to previous years in which the Kingdom witnessed classified air depressions. For example, the Kingdom has been affected until now in 2018 by four classified air depressions, one of which was of the advanced degrees.
