Arab Weather - The latest satellite images show quantities of clouds active in the eastern Mediterranean basin region, interspersed with quantities of rain clouds accompanied by thunder.

These clouds accompany a surface low pressure system centered to the south of the island of Cyprus.

Due to the movement of the southwesterly surface winds accompanying the low pressure system, the impact of rain clouds is concentrated on parts of Syria, Lebanon and northern Palestine.

In the coming hours, as the low pressure system moves east and northeast, some rain cells are expected to deepen towards parts of the north of the Kingdom, specifically west of Irbid Governorate, and may also reach parts of Ajloun Governorate, accompanied by showers of rain and perhaps hail.
