Arab Weather - Weather maps at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected on Sunday and Monday by an air mass with temperatures much warmer than usual for this time of year. Temperatures will slightly rise across all regions of the Kingdom, and will be about 10-12 degrees Celsius higher than their average for this time of year.
The weather will be warm during the day in most areas, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Maximum temperatures will exceed the mid-20s Celsius in the Kingdom's cities, including parts of the capital, Amman, while they will exceed the mid-30s Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be variable in direction and light in speed.
During the night hours, night temperatures are much higher than their usual rates for this time of year. The weather is pleasant in the evening hours and tends to be cold during the late night and early morning, while the weather is warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
The scientific reason behind the warm weather is the rush of an air mass with warmer-than-average temperatures across northeastern Africa toward the Kingdom. This is due to the flow of cold winds from central Europe toward northwestern Africa, including Libya and the Maghreb countries.
And God knows best.
