Jordan - Weather Update | Rain clouds heading to parts of the center and increasing chances of rain in some areas of Amman in the coming hours

Arab Weather - Satellite images indicate the proliferation of clouds in parts of the central part of the Kingdom and the central Jordan Valley, accompanied by local showers of rain in narrow and limited geographical areas that include neighborhoods of the capital, Amman, and Salt, with a warning of landslides on the roads.

The same images indicate that rain clouds will move from central Palestine towards central Jordan in the coming hours, which will increase the chances of rain falling on scattered areas of central Jordan, including parts of the capital Amman, especially the southern regions. This comes in conjunction with the prevalence of relatively cold weather in light of the absence of sunlight due to the cloud cover covering various areas of the Kingdom.

Rain is also accompanied by the formation of fog as a result of low clouds touching the ground, which leads to a decrease in horizontal visibility over mountainous heights.
