Jordan: With temperatures expected to rise in the Kingdom at the end of the week.. Will the Kingdom witness a new heat wave?

From the Arabian Weather Center - The latest computer modeling maps at the Arabian Weather Center indicate expectations that Jordan will be affected by an extension of a surface thermal depression during the next few days, which will lead to a return to temperatures rising above their usual levels by several degrees Celsius, God willing.

With temperatures expected to rise in the Kingdom.. Are we witnessing a new heat wave?

• Wednesday: Temperatures are expected to remain higher than average by 3-4 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be relatively hot over the mountain highlands and hot in the rest of the regions, and northwesterly winds will be active at intervals.
• Thursday and Friday: Temperatures will rise and be higher than usual by more than 5 degrees Celsius. The weather will turn hot in most areas, but it is very hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. While the weather is generally moderate at night.
• Starting Saturday: Temperatures will return to a gradual decline, God willing.

Based on the above, specialists at the Arab Weather Center said that despite the expected rise in temperatures in the Kingdom for the next two days, it will not last for a long time and the temperature will soon return to falling again, starting on Saturday, and temperatures will range in the capital. Amman during the weekend will reach about 35-37 degrees Celsius, and will not reach 40 degrees Celsius as happened in recent weeks.
