Jordan/Alert | Fog expected in the early hours of Wednesday morning, covering several areas of the plains and eastern desert

Arab Weather - The latest outputs of the numerical weather models processed by the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate expectations of fog formation during the late night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday night in the eastern plains and the eastern desert until the late morning hours of Wednesday.

Horizontal visibility drops to less than 1000 meters.

God willing, the fog is expected to be dense in the eastern plains and the eastern desert, and the dense fog will include open desert roads such as the western part of the Baghdad International Road, amid expectations of a significant decrease in horizontal visibility to less than 1000 meters and perhaps its absence at times in some areas.

This is due to the rush of north-easterly air currents saturated with moisture, which raise the humidity level to more than 95%, coinciding with calm wind speeds and clear skies, where dense fog forms. Brothers, drivers are warned of the risk of low and possibly no horizontal visibility.
