Jordanian electricity cures 98.2% of faults and receives 19,612 calls

Arab Weather - The Jordan Electricity Company (GEPCO) confirmed that the total faults that occurred on the electrical network during the depression amounted to 1535 faults, and the technical personnel deployed in various regions worked to repair 1508 of them, at a rate of 98.2%.
The company stated in a statement today, Thursday, that the company's call centers and emergency rooms received a total of 19,612 calls, confirming that the call centers continue their work around the clock to receive citizen observations and complaints and to work on fixing faults as quickly as possible, with the aim of continuing to deliver the current to citizens during prevailing weather conditions .
The company announced the readiness of its cadres working in all areas of its work in the central governorates to deal with the polar depression, noting that the prepared emergency plan comes from its keenness to continue providing its services to subscribers efficiently and regularly during the expected emergency weather conditions.
The company indicated that the main and additional subsidiary operating rooms were opened and strengthened with engineering and technical cadres and provided with a stock of materials and backup requirements necessary to cover all areas of the company's competence in the central governorates (Amman, Zarqa, Madaba, Al Balqa).
The company confirmed that the cadres will work around the clock to ensure the implementation of the plan in a way that ensures reducing the time to reach all sites when needed through its modern mechanisms that have been equipped with snow sweepers to achieve more control and speed of completion of work.
In addition, she emphasized taking into account all requirements to maintain the safety of citizens and workers on electrical networks to deal with situations that may pose a threat to their lives, and focus on delivering electric current to subscribers at the maximum speed, relying on the modernization and development plans that have begun to implement and aim to provide optimal service in all emergency and normal circumstances And removing all obstacles that would cause electrical current disruption resulting from strong winds or snow.
