Arab Weather - The Kingdom began today, Tuesday, to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability, resulting from the passage of a cold upper trough north of the Arabian Peninsula, coinciding with the activity of the Red Sea depression and the flow of tropical moisture in the layers of the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, cumulus clouds are active in large areas of the Kingdom, especially the central and northern regions, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and the occurrence of thunder and lightning.
It is expected that during the day of tomorrow, Wednesday, the state of atmospheric instability will temporarily recede as the cold upper trough continues to move towards the northeast, and the surface response will gradually weaken. This coincides with a decline in the chances of rain in various regions, while remaining local, with the continued appearance of clouds at different altitudes.
God willing, it is expected that the state of atmospheric instability will be renewed in some areas during the hours of Wednesday/Thursday night and Thursday morning, as forecasts indicate a gradual movement of a cold upper trough from the Egyptian lands towards the north of the Arabian Peninsula, which will lead to the return of the emergence of an area of atmospheric instability over different areas of the Kingdom.
God willing, on Thursday and Friday, the weather instability is expected to intensify, with chances of rain extending to wider areas of the Kingdom, sometimes accompanied by thunder, lightning, and hail.
Areas expected to be affected by rain chances during the impact and renewal of the unstable weather conditions from Wednesday night until Friday:
