The Arab Weather team from the previous year devised a scale to determine the intensity of depressions to facilitate the community.The depressions are classified based on several factors and weather conditions, most notably rain, temperature, wind and others.The scale extends from the first class containing the weak depressions to the fifth that contains the special depressions.
Rating grades
1 - first class - is the weakest types of depressions and often is the extension of low atmospheric associated with a low temperature and rainfall for some of the rain is inclusive.
2 - the second degree - a low winter air usual accompanied by rain and cold weather with a wider impact and rain is sometimes heavy.
3 - Class III - low to moderate high-efficiency air accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds may result in snowfall sometimes.
4 - the fourth degree - a low-effective high air and closer to the winter storm is accompanied by very cold weather and strong winds may be accompanied by snow.
5 - Fifth degree - the most severe types of depressions and classified as exceptional and be a rainstorm accompanied by a very cold weather and strong winds and heavy rain in abundance and accompanied by snow in large areas.
The depression may be elevated to a higher level in terms of abundance and amount of rain only without taking into account the other factors, including snow.
