LG joins Hedera Board of Directors to accelerate innovations and adopt Distributed Ledger technology globally

Weather of Arabia- LG Electronics Inc. today announced And Hedera Hashgraph , a project that is a new form of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) , which creates a network of nodes (computers) that connect with one another to complete transactions in a decentralized manner, about LG joining the Hedera Board of Directors . The Council will consist of 39 international organizations from a variety of sectors and geographical regions in the world.

LG is the 14th member of the board, joining Boeing , Deutsche Telekom , DLA Piper , FIS (WorldPay) , Google , IBM , Magalu , Nomura , Swirlds , Swisscom Blockchain , Tata Communications , University College London (UCL) and Wipro . As the only home appliances manufacturer to join the Hedera Board, LG will work with Hedera and other board members to define ways in which Distributed Ledger technology can benefit consumers and partners for supply chains by enabling seamless transactions.

Hedera board members will manage the contract on the public Hedera Hash-Graph network, and are responsible for approving the Hedera roadmap and updates to the platform database. Members also guarantee the decentralization and diversity of the council.
