Low pressure area monitored over the Black Sea and strong atmospheric disturbances affect Türkiye

Arab Weather - The latest outputs of remote sensing systems received by the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate the detection of an area of low atmospheric pressure over the Black Sea waters as a result of the rush of a cold upper trough, which causes the emergence of unstable weather conditions characterized by severity in many areas of Turkey, accompanied by strong thunderstorms, heavy rains and hail.

Tonight: Very unsettled weather with severe autumn-like thunderstorms

According to the latest outputs received from the Arab Weather Regional Center, the unstable weather conditions are expected to intensify tonight in Turkey as a result of the continued concentration of the cold upper trough and the rush of air currents with high surface heating that merge with the cold and humid upper air, which produces sometimes severe rain waves, especially in eastern Turkey, accompanied by hail, the formation of torrents and a rise in water levels.

Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center reported that the European continent, especially its center and south, is exposed to cold upper air systems for this time of year, and this may be an indication of the gradual change in the weather systems and their acquisition of an autumnal character, as cold upper basins repeatedly rush towards the European continent, producing strong weather disturbances.
