Meteorologist | Jeddah rains are the highest since the past 40 years

Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the rains that fell on the city of Jeddah were the highest rate of precipitation during the past forty years.

He added, during his intervention with Al-Ikhbariya channel: “There is a difference in the amount of rain in other regions,” noting that the feature of the Kingdom’s rains during this period is continuity, not abundance.

He pointed out that the center has direct contacts with the public and the concerned authorities, to deal with rain and take a walk in the natural environment.
