She explained that the total storage of the main dams rose to (96.1) million m3, with a total storage rate of (28.5%) of its total capacity of (336,4) million m3.

 

Regarding precipitation rates, it indicated that its monitoring stations recorded in the governorates of the capital, Amman, an average of 6.3 mm of precipitation during the past 24 hours, Balqa (14.8 mm), Madaba (3.4 mm), Zarqa (4.2) Jarash (6.4) mm, Mafraq (2.5) mm, Irbid (12.7) mm, Ajloun (21.8) mm, while the southern governorates of Karak, Tafila, Maan and Aqaba did not record any precipitation during the 24 hours. past.

 

The ministry noted that, as a result of the expectations of freezing, it appeals to everyone to take advantage of all rainfall and to ensure that rainwater gutters are not connected to sewage networks, and to ensure that water meters and household water facilities are protected from freezing, as well as to stay away from streams of torrents and valleys.
