Weather of Arabia - Satellite images of the Arab Regional Weather Center monitor a long belt of cumulus thunderstorm clouds that extends from the southeast of Turkish lands to the east of Syria and continues to pass through large areas of Iraq, including the capital, Baghdad, to the south of Nasiriyah in the far south of Iraq.
The cumulonimbus cloud belt covers a very large area of about 1087 km from southern Turkey to southern Iraq.
And the weather forecast staff at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates that the scientific reason behind the strong weather disturbances is the result of the presence of an air depression in all layers of the atmosphere that is centered over western Iraq and is accompanied by a cold air front that is characterized by intensity and wraps around the depression, and the flow of warm air currents has contributed to the increase in weather disturbances. And very moist in the layers of the atmosphere near the surface of the earth, which contributed to the increase in the strength of thunderstorms as a result of the convergence of winds from different sources and with different characteristics.
It is noteworthy that the weather forecast staff at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicated that the region was affected by a regional rainy situation several days before its occurrence, which is the same situation that will affect Kuwait and some regions of Saudi Arabia during the coming hours, God willing.
God knows.
