Monitoring: A new area of low pressure has formed in the Arabian Sea, with expectations of it moving westward near the Arabian Peninsula.

From the Arab Weather Center - The latest computer forecast maps and satellite images in Arab Weather indicate the formation of a low-pressure area in the middle of the Arabian Sea, with expectations that it will continue to move westward during the coming days near the south of the Arabian Peninsula.

Weather conditions surrounding the tropical storm and the possibility of its development

Experts at the Arab Weather Center indicated that the low pressure area is expected to move westward during the coming days, under the direction of the winds of the seasonal high centered over the Arabian Peninsula.

The low air area will reach near the Gulf of Aden and the south of the Arabian Peninsula on Tuesday and Wednesday, and will indirectly affect the flow of rain clouds to the southern parts of the southern Arabian Peninsula, including parts of the central and Dhofar regions, and the south and west of Yemen, and the rain will be of varying intensity, with the possibility of valleys flowing.

The seasonal high pressure system over the Arabian Peninsula acts as a barrier against the penetration of the tropical system into the Arabian Peninsula. However, despite this, it is expected that there will be indirect effects of the condition on the south of the Peninsula. Also, the rush of tropical moisture to the Peninsula after the system fades enhances expectations that some parts of the region will be affected by a rainy condition in the last week of October.
