Weather of Arabia - The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the recording of 21 deaths, most of them elderly people and people suffering from chronic diseases, as a result of high temperatures.
The Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region confirmed that the regional hospital center in Beni Mellal recorded 21 deaths on July 24, including 4 outside the hospital and 17 hospital deaths. The directorate explained that most of the deaths were among people suffering from chronic diseases and the elderly, as the significant rise in temperatures contributed to the deterioration of their health condition and led to their death.
