Arab Weather - In a new calamity, the official news agency in Morocco announced that 24 people died today, Monday, in a textile factory, after it was overtaken by strong torrents resulting from the torrential rains that fell on the city.
The agency said that the bodies of 24 people were recovered and 10 others were rescued after the rainwater leakage incident to the textile factory, and added that the secret industrial unit was inside an underground garage in a residential villa in the Al-Enas neighborhood in Tangiers, explaining that this unit was exposed to rainwater leakage, which caused trapping Who were working in it.
And the Moroccan News Agency pointed out that the injured were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary aid, indicating that searches are continuing to reach and rescue the rest of the possible trapped people.
The competent authorities opened an investigation, under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, to uncover the circumstances and causes of this accident and determine the responsibilities.
