New oil and gas discoveries in Saudi Arabia

Weather of Arabia - Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Saudi Minister of Energy, announced yesterday new discoveries in the field of oil and gas, as he announced that Aramco had discovered a new unconventional oil field called “Al-Ladam” in the Eastern Province. Arabian ultra light oil flows from this field at a rate of up to 5,100 barrels per day, accompanied by about 4.9 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

New oil and gas discoveries

He also announced the discovery of another unconventional oil field in the same region, where oil flowed at a rate of 4,557 barrels per day, along with about 3.79 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Another reservoir was discovered in one of the fields in the Eastern Province, where the oil flow reaches 1,780 barrels per day, accompanied by 0.7 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

As for natural gas, a field was discovered in the Empty Quarter with a flow of 7.6 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, accompanied by 40 barrels per day of condensate. Another reservoir was discovered in the Empty Quarter with a flow of 4.9 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

These discoveries strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as one of the major players in the global energy market, and contribute to enhancing Aramco's production capacity in the field of oil and gas.
