Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest readings from the so-called computer simulation of temperature forecasts indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected, starting tonight, by the extension of the so-called Siberian high, where cold weather prevails and turns into very cold weather with the late night hours, and frost is likely to form in some areas.
In detail, God willing, minimum temperatures are expected to drop in the coming nights and cold to very cold weather will prevail in various regions of the Kingdom, as the minimum temperature drops to around zero degrees Celsius, especially near the ground surface in large areas of the eastern plains, the Badia regions and the peaks of the Shara Mountains, while it reaches around 4 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman.
With the decrease in temperatures, especially near the ground surface, clear skies, and calm wind speeds (especially Monday/Tuesday night), it is not unlikely that frost will form during the late night hours, dawn, and early morning in some areas, especially in the eastern plains and high mountainous areas in the south of the Kingdom, such as the Sharah Heights, in addition to the desert areas.
Therefore, it is recommended to be aware of the risk of frost formation in the late night hours in some areas, and the very cold weather requires wearing warmer clothes, with a focus on children's clothes.
And God knows best.
