Observing a wave of tropical humidity gradually creeping into the atmosphere of the Arabian Peninsula in the second week of the season

Arabia Weather - The so-called Red Sea depression usually begins to gradually become active on the Arabian Peninsula as we enter the seasonal season, which falls on October 16. It is a depression that branches off from the Sudan Depression (tropical thermal depression), and this seasonal depression interacts with the White Sea depressions. The Mediterranean region causes conditions of atmospheric instability and rainfall in many regions of the Arabian Peninsula, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Preliminary readings of weather maps through computer simulation models indicate that the Red Sea depression will gradually activate this season during the last third of October over Saudi Arabia, effectively coinciding with the influx of the first wave of moisture with tropical characteristics to the region, and this will lead to:

• The beginning of active atmospheric instability and the proliferation of cumulus clouds over some areas of the Kingdom, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity.
• These rain clouds are accompanied by lightning strikes and downdraft activity, which lead to temporary dust storms in some areas.
• Variations in temperatures and moderate weather in some regions of the Kingdom, and the weather tends to be cold at night in some northern regions.

It is also possible that the effects of this low temperature and cumulus rain clouds will extend to some other Gulf countries, including Kuwait, and the chances of rain will also increase on the Hajar mountain range in the Sultanate of Oman and the mountains of the Emirates.

Computer modeling outputs also indicate that there is an increase in the chances of the first tropical state emerging in the Arabian Sea during the last third of October, and this requires further follow-up at that time.
