Oman's Suwaiq station records the highest amount of rain on the planet in the last 24 hours

Weather of Arabia - Hurricane Shaheen made Al-Suwaiq station at the forefront of global meteorological stations as the largest rainfall during the last 24 hours, recording about 306 mm.

This quantity is considered very large for such areas, which do not witness such quantities except very rarely.

It is noteworthy that cyclone Shaheen retreated on Sunday night to the level of a tropical storm and then continued its decline on Monday morning to become a tropical depression with its continuing effects on the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE in the form of rain showers of varying intensity, active winds and high sea waves in the Sea of Oman.
