Arab Weather - Computer simulation maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected on Monday and Tuesday by an extension of the so-called Siberian high, but the measured temperatures will witness a rise at the same time, which will be met by a decrease in tangible temperatures (which the human body feels), and a remarkably cold weather will prevail in all regions of the Kingdom, God willing, during the night and early morning hours.
Despite the forecasts indicating that the Kingdom will be affected by the extension of the Siberian High on Monday and Tuesday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly to be slightly higher than their usual rates. However, the extension of the Siberian High will appear clearly this time in the tangible temperatures, which are expected to decrease as a result of the expected activity in the speed of the southeast winds.
The weather on Monday and Tuesday is expected to be relatively cold and clear in various regions of the Kingdom, and medium and high clouds will gradually appear on Tuesday, with moderate to active southeasterly winds blowing, which will significantly increase the feeling of coldness and will be accompanied by some strong gusts in the high southern mountainous heights and the Ghor regions.
The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba are exempt from the cold weather in the coming days, as moderate temperatures are expected to prevail in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, in addition to the city of Aqaba, where temperatures will record levels in the twenties in these areas, and even approach the mid-twenties Celsius in parts of the Jordan Valley, especially the southern ones, amid warmer than usual weather for this time of year, and it can be described as inspired by spring in light of the coldest periods of winter. Despite this weather, which will be relatively warm, the winds will be active at times and accompanied by strong gusts in some Jordan Valley areas.
The Kingdom is expected to be affected on Wednesday 15/1/2025 by air currents that are temporarily warmer than usual for this time of year, so temperatures will rise to become warmer than their average by about 5-7 degrees Celsius, and maximum temperatures will approach 20 degrees Celsius in various regions of the Kingdom, including the eastern neighborhoods of the capital, and the weather will be cold in most regions with the continued appearance of medium and high clouds.
According to the latest weather maps at the Arab Weather Center, temperatures will drop again, God willing, on Thursday with an increase in wind speed. The weather will turn relatively cold in general in most areas, with clouds appearing at different altitudes. Some local showers of rain are likely, God willing, in the north of the Kingdom.
And God knows best.
