ArabiaWeather.com- The first two schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have joined the list of buildings that rely on solar energy generation in order to produce clean energy as part of programs aimed at expanding “alternative energy” projects to save fuel and preserve the environment.

The project, which was completed by the Saudi Electricity Company in cooperation with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, consists of 132 solar panels installed at an inclination angle of 25 degrees in the “Jabr bin Atik” and “Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz” schools for boys.

The project will be operated and performance monitored by means of remote control techniques, through the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology Center, which used techniques to measure energy efficiency, harmonic waves, and power factor to ensure the progress of the project, as planned, and to accurately detect and treat any defect. To improve the efficiency of solar panels in generating energy.
