Weather of Arabia - Since the sunrise of the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah, pilgrims flock to the level of "Arafat" to perform the greatest pillar of the pilgrimage, which is to stand at "Arafah", after they spend in the "Mina" area on the day of Tarwiyah , and with the sunset of the day of Arafat, they head to Muzdalifah to spend the night there, after which they return to the area of Mina to stone Jamrat al-Aqaba, circumambulate the honorable Kaaba and run between Safa and Marwa.

The Day of Arafat is “the best day on which the sun has risen,” in which the believers gather on the level of “Arafat” from all sides and in one place and one time and in one clothing, there is no difference between them, and their hearts are united in a great spectacle, responding to God Almighty’s most famous call: Lifting up their hands with humility, asking for forgiveness and mercy and asking God Almighty for their need and to bestow upon them His great bounty.

Thousands of miles away, the eyes of Muslims all over the world are directed to the pilgrims of the House of God, and the hearts of the believers crawl for that great ritual, they watch the pilgrims’ march and worship God during this day, as it is the day of the greatest pilgrimage, and fasting it (for non-pilgrims) expiates two years, and no day is set free God has more necks in it than on the day of Arafah.

The best supplication is the supplication of the Day of Arafa

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says: (The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafa, and the best of what I and the prophets before me said: There is no god but God alone, He has no partner, His is the kingdom, His is the praise, and He has power over all things) Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (3585).

It is possible to repeat a set of correct supplications mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and to pray for yourself, your parents, your family, and all Muslims:

  • Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any hatred for those who believe.

  • Oh God, forgive me my sin, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and what You know better than me, Oh God, forgive me my grandfather and my joking, my mistakes and my intentionality, all of that is with Me, Oh God, and what I have done wrong, and what I have done wrong, and what I have done wrong, and what I have done wrong You are the forerunner and you are the last, and you are over all things powerful.

  • Oh God, I have wronged myself greatly, and no one forgives sins except You, so forgive me a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me with a mercy that I will be most happy with in both worlds.
