Arab Weather - The Director of the Emergency Unit in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Ghaith Al-Nawaisah, said that the ministry has completed its preparations through field teams in the various governorates of the Kingdom, in anticipation of the expected weather situation in Jordan.
Al-Nawaisah added, during his hosting of the "Akhbar Al-Sabaa" program on "Roya" channel, that the field teams will work to spray salt in the heights that will witness a state of frost and freezing, in order to prevent icy slips on the roads.
He indicated that the medium emergency plan was activated yesterday, Friday, based on the issued weather situation, and the main operating room and 14 operating rooms were opened distributed over all governorates.
He pointed out that the ministry has 98 field teams equipped with 350 vehicles and equipment, in addition to human cadres.
Al-Nawaisah explained that coordination is taking place on a permanent basis with the ministry's partners to work on resolving and addressing all observations on a regular basis to maintain the sustainability of services provided to citizens.
With regard to the observations, Al-Nawaisah confirmed that the central emergency room and emergency rooms in the directorates and offices have received, since yesterday morning, Friday, until this moment, simple and usual observations, such as rainwater gatherings in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, indicating that they were dealt with in a professional manner.
As for the condition of the roads, the ministry reiterated that all roads are passable throughout the Kingdom.
The ministry renewed its call to citizens to take precaution and stay away from torrents and valleys, and not to hesitate to report any observation through direct communication with the main operating room in the ministry and operating rooms in the governorates, or through the application of the works reporting system on smart phones or through its operating rooms , Which:
