Bahrain National Museum

You should know that it is the first museum of its kind that was established in the Arabian Gulf region, and that was in the year 1988, when it was established on a huge building and distinguished by its architectural design in front of a beautiful lake that increases the view magnificence, and in the spacious courtyards of the museum you find a number of contemporary statues.

The museum includes a collection of rare artifacts that were discovered in Bahrain. There are also two halls dedicated to ethnography, which includes everything that includes Bahraini folk traditions, and another hall dedicated to arts.

Bahrain Fort and Museum

In this castle, you can learn about the rich history of trade in Bahrain since ancient times when the island was known as Dilmun, and the castle is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site as it is located in the place where the ancient capital of Dilmun was found.

As for the museum, it was opened in 2008 AD, and it includes 5 halls distributed in an ascending manner, and displays about 500 artifacts dating back to different historical eras.

The House of the Qur'an Museum

It was opened in 1990 in a modern and beautiful building. It consists of a section for manuscripts and publications and another section for the Qur’an and holdings, in addition to the section for administration, services and the library. There are many manuscripts and antiquities in the museum, according to the historical sequence.

There are also thematic museums in Bahrain such as the Oil House Museum, the Money Museum, the Military Museum, and museums related to ancient castles such as the Bu Maher and Arad castles, not to mention a number of personal heritage museums such as the Sovereign House Museums, Rashid Al-Arifi House, Sheikh Isa Bin Ali House, Ibrahim Al-Areed House and others.
