Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate warned of the expected effects of the low pressure system that will affect the Kingdom, indicating the possibility of rain in the western parts, according to bulletins issued by the relevant authorities.

The Directorate called on citizens to follow safety measures, through the following tips and instructions:

  • Avoid approaching valleys and low-lying areas exposed to floods, and move to safer places, especially for those living in tents and hair houses.
  • Be careful while driving to avoid accidents caused by slipping on wet roads.
  • Stay away from water gathering sites and do not risk crossing flooded roads, whether on foot or by vehicle.
  • Use heating devices safely, do not leave them on while sleeping, and ventilate the house periodically.
  • Fixing volatile objects, such as zinc sheets and water tank covers, especially in open areas, due to strong wind speeds
  • Beware of low horizontal visibility due to dust caused by active winds, especially in the east and south of the Kingdom.
  • The Directorate confirms its operational readiness to deal with emergency reports via the unified number 911, if necessary.
