Arab Weather - Various regions of the capital, Amman, have been witnessing heavy rainfall since the early morning hours, coinciding with the Kingdom being affected by a second-degree depression.

The heavy rainfall caused a large number of accidents between vehicles as a result of road slides and the failure of some drivers to leave a safe distance.

Based on data from the Central Traffic Department, more than ten traffic accidents occurred on Monday morning in the capital, Amman alone, involving dozens of vehicles.

One of the most prominent traffic accidents that the capital witnessed was a public bus sliding and settling against traffic under Prince Hussein Bridge towards the Ersal Bridge, in addition to another accident between three vehicles after the Queen Zein Bridge towards the Seventh Circle.

A traffic accident occurred between three vehicles near the Al-Diwan signal towards Jabal Al-Qusour, causing difficulty for vehicles to navigate the site.

In the same context, Traffic Department personnel dealt with a number of accidents after the Queen Alia Military Hospital signal towards Al Shifa Bridge due to slides.

A vehicle slid accidentally, causing the road to be temporarily closed at the entrance to the Third Circle Tunnel from the Fourth Circle side, and work is underway to raise the vehicle.

Among the incidents recorded were a traffic accident between four vehicles before the Shaab Tunnel on the side of the Medical City, and a traffic accident between two vehicles at the entrance to the Economy Tunnel towards the Interior Roundabout, in addition to a traffic accident between two vehicles at the top of the Abdoun Suspension Bridge towards the Fourth Circle.

Crises at peak time: The early morning hours during weekdays are considered peak hours for vehicle movement in the capital, Amman, while citizens go to work.

The large number of traffic accidents that occurred in the capital this morning caused stifling crises that disrupted vehicle movement in a number of vital areas.

Roya monitored traffic crises in a number of vital areas, including the area near the Fourth Circle and near the Third Circle, in addition to a traffic crisis near the Seventh Circle.

A traffic crisis was also recorded in the area near the Diwan signals towards Jabal Al-Qusour, in addition to a traffic crisis in the Al-Shaab Roundabout area near the Medical City.
