Weather data indicates that the low pressure system will form in the late hours of tonight in the western Mediterranean Sea, and will continue to move eastward to be centered in western Italy during the day on Thursday. Experts said that the low pressure system is expected to be accompanied by an influx of huge amounts of moisture coming from the Atlantic Ocean, met by a rush of humid tropical currents from the south. Therefore, large amounts of rain are expected to fall in parts of Italy, especially the northern regions, in addition to heavy rain in Slovenia and Croatia.
