Weather of Arabia - The Mayor of Amman, Yousef Al Shawarbeh, decided to extend the suspension of work of the homeland workers and field cadres for Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon until 4 pm with the distribution of water and head coverings, according to the Director of the Media Department, Nasser Al Rahamneh.

Al-Rahamneh said, "The decision came due to the heat wave in the Kingdom, according to the forecasts of the Meteorological Department."

He stressed the need for workers in the homeland, parks and field workers to wear protective headgear from the sun, and to avoid working at peak hours and intensifying heat.

Al-Rahamneh indicated that the Municipality's water tanks will spray water by mist method on a number of main streets in various regions, especially the city center, which is the hottest location.
